WOMAN OF A DIFFERENT STATUS

And God said it wasn't good for man to be alone so he created you, but somewhere along the line someone changed your perspective, shifted your view, like eve you listen to the wrong voice, you took a huge tasty bite of deception. Now your stomach is upset because your spirit won’t digest it. No longer the woman that walks in the confidence of an ultimate artistic design, submit your name change, let’s call you “compromise”. This is what happens when the gospel is according to whoever that’s on top of your music playlist, and the media has become your bible, searching scriptures of magazines to be told that you are dent and Satan’s recital. But you are not her and she is not you. Cos you are called to so much more than make up, hair, clothes and shoes, and “dropping it like it’s hot” even if you are able to. You’re a woman of a different status, a virtuous one to be exact. You are content and not trying to look like anyone cos you understand the differences and there ain’t  no reason to be jealous cos you got Gods finger print. you don’t run around talking about how there are no good men, you know if you apply half as much effort on the inside as you do on the out, you’ll stop drawing the wrong attention. Slow to speak; quick to listen. Receiving intervention from a higher dimension, seeking purpose and watching your God given visions come to fruition. Never forgetting that you have been forgiven much. So you eat, you live, you give and even sweat love. Always ready to hear from the woman with silver hair. Seeds have been sown; her wisdom saturates your soul clipping our dead ends throat. Always promoting unity, serving your community. Using your talents and gifts as an all glory to God opportunity. Wake up in the morning with the grind of the most high on your mind, constantly refined to be the exact of your architects design. You have no heart, hence the answer before the question, any man that wants your hearts will go to Christ knowing it’s in his possession, yes you are beautiful and bare foot in the kitchen of grace, pregnant with purpose, making the praise. Jesus should be who you crave. Awaiting his coming so you can gather back what has been deposited knowing fully that one day we all will be audited. Mercy gives you a second chance so often you don’t receive what you really ought to get, you need an intervention. Christ came to do loss prevention, on the cross he was stretched and fully extended and you? You were given an extension, hear me…an extension, cos this price was worth far more than your finest Brazilian hair. I know you can change the things you don’t like often with simple cost but Botox, lipo and implants got nothing on what was accomplished on that cross cos you can’t implant in yourself a new spirit or lipo suck away your sins and you can’t Botox your depression. It’s time to change your status, to a virtuous one to be exact. You are a woman with a different status, this world you will impact.

YOLO

you only live once, has become a common slang 2day....although its meaning being misused or should i say some people just tend to have that talent for justifying irrational acts smoothly and so with a general truth. But that still doesn’t make the correctness of this phrase any less true. Okay very agreeable and important: the concepts of futuristic thinking and preparations but yet excessiveness can turn even the most noble acts 2 unwelcome deeds.
Life is not meant to be endured but enjoyed, now don’t quote enjoyment here wrongly because in the end we are still the ones to define our lives and the simple laws of life always hold forth...''how u lay your bed is how you'll lie on it'' but common now, if u lay your bed all through the night you’d have no use for it when its morning even if it turns out to be as comfortable as sleeping on the clouds, cos in the end even a man whose bed was not laid as good as yours still had a sleep, one which you did not, but let’s not forget that one who doesn’t lay his bed properly too may also find it difficult to get any sleep till day breaks.
You know how Nigerian women have that ''big bag'' of ''important'' clothes or that box of ''wear only twice a year'' jewellery box. If they should at any time kick the bucket; someone who does not have the least idea of how much they treasured those things will use them at will, as it pleases them...
No one ever knows tomorrow. your salary is another man's tithe, your tithe, another man's offering, your best clothe,, another man's rag...so let’s live life to fullest...i mean even God had this to say about what he wanted 4 us......''my thoughts for you are of good and not of evil, to bring you to an expected end''....2 bring me to MY expected end and i still remember him saying that, that expectation shall not be cut short so what else is there to say..........live like today is d last day of your life with the consciousness of tomorrow.

SUNDAY READ ; NO GREY SIDE

From the book of Romans 12:1, our bodies are God's temple, remember when he said a time will come when we'll no longer need to go to special mountains to worship,,well now is that time, he now dwells in us, he does not live in houses built by men. So why do we act all holy in church and revert 2 other practices once outside, where as our body is actually the real temple.
you're either black or white with God...hot or cold, he said he'll spit you out if you're even warm, woe unto he who has placed his hand on the plough and looks back...sometimes this christian race scares me, sometimes it looks too hard but then again i remember that the righteousness that we strive after is not of our own might for he said that even the righteous sinneth 7 times a day...but his own righteousness is wHat speaks for us, for as long as we submit 2 him, his word says ;its no longer we that liveth but Christ that lives in us. Guys lets strive to be ''hot'' not ''warm'', ''white'' not "grey", cos in the end i'd rather be a free thinker and end up in hell than be a warm or grey christian and still end up in hell......
Happy Sunday!!!

PURSUING PORTIPHAR'S WIFE

Have you ever seen a beautiful Egyptian before? Nigerian ladies are fine but these ones are drop dead gorgeous. Portiphar’s wife mostly surely would have been a pretty woman to be married to a wealthy man as himself.
So we were told that she had an eye on David  and David was unyielding but lets bring that scene to our own time. David will be like “oboi, bad guy like me. My master’s wife dey feel me die”. In David’s life the most tempting time he ever had was this moment(to me), he was young(hormones all active), he was handsome(hehehe, fine boi), he could have done it and got away with it(fast guy). But what did that slacker do? He ran away like a sissy boy instead of stand like a man, he even left his cloth with her. I mean he had the perfect excuse, it was his boss’s wife, God would have understood he had no choice(except to run away that is). I sit some times and I think how hard and probably doubtful of his actions joseph would’ve been after he was thrown in prison, preachers make it look like he was some robot that just said no and stuck with it simple! But I beg to differ. He was as a young man just like me at that moment. God help us all.
So in today’s world Just as someone rightly put. Portiphar’s wife no longer chases the young men. The young men chase portiphar’s wife. The ladies will think this does not apply to them but your own portiphar’s wife may be "that guy", your boss, a car, you name it. BETTER TO BE FOOLISH BEFORE MEN AND WISE BEFORE GOD.
As we continue in this Christian struggle, may God grant us the grace to come out victorious in such temptations. Amen.

Happy Sunday y’all.

THE PLAN

They say he who does not plan is planning to fail. You are quick to say you will definitely be rich. You always talk about the job you want; one that pays very well, the wife/husband you want, etc. but you’ve got zero plans to make them happen. It’s not just enough to go to school and graduate with a good grade, I mean we all know a certain somebody who has graduated a long time ago and yet still seeking employment. He’s not cursed or maybe he is (just being open minded), who knows? But how much, how far ahead do we plan? Plan your life, it may not always go as you plan it but where there is no rule there is no sin. If you don’t have a plan you will never know when things are falling out of place and you will tend to settle for anything. Finally and most importantly KEEP YOUR PLANS TO YOUR SELF BECAUSE YOUR CLOSE FRIEND MOST LIKELY HAS ANOTHER CLOSE FRIEND. It’s better and easier to prevent than to repair.

UNDISPUTED

There are basically two ways to be the best. You either rise above others or you bring them below your level. Whichever way you get to be “on top”. You know in at the end of most race you hear the past record and the new set record and sometimes it’s done by the same person. That is a perfect example of winning by rising above others. Some people have fully mastered the art of increasing their heights by standing on the shoulders of others. Well I don’t criticise that at all, that is if it is done the right way, I mean if you are going to be standing tall on my shoulder I should as well be able to gain a lot from whatever you see up there. It’s a good thing to stand out but doing it by bringing people down to your level is quite easy but distasteful and most often never stands the test of time because a man with one eye can be king in the land of the blind only as long as he remains the only man with one eye. If I have a rumpled shirt on, there are two ways to correct it; stand next to a mechanic guy who has a dirty and rumpled shirt on or take the long road and do some ironing.
Do not let anyone bring you below their level in other to elevate themselves.

MONEY READS

Thinking of being a billionaire or a multi-millionaire in the nearest future? Well here’s something for you. Now I’m not going to talk too much on “how to” cause I’m personally not a fan of all these popular “ten ways to get rich” or “seven ways to be rich” or any number of ways to do whatever, because I believe there are more than one way to get rich in fact as you read this there still is a yet to be seen way or series of steps to get rich.
You know the very popular question; where do you see yourself in ten year? Yea I've found that most people still can’t wrap their heads around how they are supposed to answer that question. But anyway that’s not what I’m dwelling on. What I’m bringing to you is more of an affirmation of what you already know. You cannot be a billionaire working under anybody. You can do a survey on the billionaires and financial sharks you know. It’s just not possible to be an employee and a billionaire; the two words just don’t match. So if you plan on getting filthy rich you should also start planning to also be your own boss.

SILENT SHOUTS

Voices that keep wishing, shouts that are only as sonorous as whispers. Although it’s a past event but the more I read or thought about it the more I saw and felt. The one child policy of china.
To think I was actually an admirer of the law. At a time I actually wished Nigeria would make talks about passing a similar bill. You still don’t know what am driving at? Okay. Let me fill you in a bit. I’m talking about 336 million forced abortions, 222 million sterilization, a fine of 3 to ten times the family’s income, etc.
The 1979 law that stipulates every couple may have just one child (or two for ethnic minorities and for rural couples whose first child is a girl). The law to the rich was easily evaded as they were required to pay a “social compensation fee”, but to the poor especially in the rural areas where families need extra hands as they cannot afford to buy labor  The family planning vigilantes are always at hand to carry out forced abortion on any woman who gets pregnant without permission and can’t pay the usually exorbitant fines.
Who suffered the most?  There are cases of couples who fled their villages to give birth in neighboring provinces, the brutal methods applied in performing the forced abortions, women forced by husbands to abort baby girls just so that their only child will be a boy. The silent shouts of the mothers are starting to get louder, not very loud yet but a little more sonorous. Women’s right organisations are beginning to wade in.
does the means justify the ends? In a spite to reduce the country’s overbearing population is the methodology plausible? Yes there is always going to be the dark side of a victory but do the means really justify the end?
The communist party argue that it does. Well I’m not writing about the political issues surrounding this but just to in my own little way join millions of women in the east and shout……..and soon that silent shout will be heard.

SUNDAY READ ; CALL IT AS IT IS

So here’s the main thing I learned in church today. The less you tend to call sin by its nick name, the less you are prone to committing it. Flog, lash, tidy, hammer(#lol#, girls don suffer), sort or roger(as in bribe), high, move(as in steal), fall(as in kill), formation, chokes. Imagine if we used the real names.

THE PRICE OF PEACE

It is said that when a corpse that has nothing to do with you is carried by it seems to you like a log of wood. Yes I know we all sympathise with the victims of all the recent crisis going on in the north, but if you ever sat to listen to the long after-stories of these victims you’d understand what I’m driving at.
The Americans attach so much to child psychology, I was talking the other day to a friend and he was telling me how impossible it is for Nigerians to suffer from some of the disorders the white folks have. He cited OCD and panic attacks as examples. Now imagine a child who watched his parents brutally murdered in front of him/her. Recently in Kano a child of 11years identified a man in the market as one of those that killed her parents and elder brother. She was described to have shouted and continued shouting like she was going crazy. Also we know of the Nigerian footballer who now plays for an international club (FC Chelsea) talking about victor Moses who also lost his parents to the same fate some years ago in Kaduna.
The hate that comes with such experience. After some time the news stop carrying it, the story becomes a past event but still the scars still remain with those that bear the pain. Their lives have been changed forever, it can never be as it used to before. A boy committed suicide 6 months after his family was attacked and both parents killed , he was forced to have sex with his sister and after the whole event the said sister got pregnant, both parents were dead, I guess it was just too much for him to bear(not that I’m justifying the suicide). He took his own life, slit his wrist and died horribly.
Our government are too quick to throw cash at these people whose life has been turned around in a blink that they forget they need psychological help as much as they need financial aids. Among several young men arrested in connection to the Jos crisis was a boy who according to him lost both parents in the same crisis. We may not be as vengeful as Rambo or commando who will bring down a whole city for taking the lives of their loved ones but we've seen many cases of people ta king to arms in a religious crisis for a vengeful cause.
If you have never lost someone close I doubt you will be able to relate to this. You cannot feel the pain as much as they do. People will cry and mourn with you but in the end after the burial they’ll go home and you are left to bear the pain alone. Majority of those that lose their lives to these senseless crises are mostly men. They die and go, yes they die and who is left behind to bear all the burden and pain of raising the kids? And who has to become a widow? The woman suffers much. Not to talk of children who are made fatherless and into orphans?
The price of peace is exceedingly high but isn't that what makes it a jewel?
